Catcher Technology Co., Ltd., a long-term contributor to local communities, donated a pump fire truck to the Tainan City Fire Bureau today (26th). The ceremony was attended by Catcher Technology’s Senior Director Mr. Shih-Wei Lee and Fire Bureau Senior Specialist Mr. Huang Hui-Lin, who accepted the donation and presented a certificate of appreciation. The event underscores the strong collaboration between industry and local government in enhancing urban safety.
Tainan Mayor Huang Wei-Che expressed his sincere gratitude to Catcher Technology, emphasizing that while government resources are limited, the support of private enterprises plays an essential role in strengthening public safety. He noted that the donation not only enhances the city's firefighting and rescue capabilities but also contributes to building a safer living environment for citizens. Fire Bureau Chief Lee Ming-Feng added that as disaster risks become increasingly complex, the donated pump fire truck will enhance frontline operational efficiency and reflects Catcher’s strong commitment to social responsibility.
Catcher Technology, originally established with aluminum alloy die-casting expertise, has evolved into a leading precision manufacturer serving major international brands across multiple sectors. Since 2020, the Company has embarked on a strategic transformation centered on precision machining and the integration of key technologies and processes. This initiative has broadened its product and customer portfolio, leading to notable progress in high-barrier, high-growth, and high-value-added sectors such as medical devices, semiconductor equipment, and aerospace.
Beyond its core business, Catcher has long been committed to public welfare, donating firefighting and rescue equipment, vehicles for disadvantaged groups, sanitizing devices, and educational resources. The pump fire truck donated this time—valued at NT$2.5 million—features a high-pressure water-mist system, water tank, and towing hook for boat deployment, supporting both firefighting and flood-response missions. This aligns with the Fire Bureau’s recent efforts to expand multifunctional rescue fleets.
Catcher Technology hopes to support frontline emergency responders through concrete actions and collaborate with local authorities to build a safer, more resilient urban environment. Looking ahead, the Company will continue to uphold the principle of “giving back to society” and remain committed to expanding its public-interest initiatives, working together with all sectors to strengthen the social safety net and create long-lasting, positive impact for the community.
