Recently, the China Electricity Council, in collaboration with the Beijing Power Exchange Center, Guangzhou Power Exchange Center, Inner Mongolia Power Exchange Center, and the Hydropower and Water Resources Planning and Design Institute, officially released the 2025 China Green Power Consumption Top 100 Enterprises List. The ranking is based solely on companies’ actual annual consumption of green electricity and renewable energy certificates, applying a rigorous methodology, and is widely regarded as an authoritative benchmark for assessing corporate green energy utilization and energy transition progress in China.
Catcher Technology (Suqian) Co., Ltd. was successfully included in the list, reflecting its sustained investment and tangible achievements in green power procurement and energy structure optimization, and underscoring the Company’s solid progress and commitment to advancing low-carbon transformation.
In alignment with China’s “carbon peaking and carbon neutrality” objectives, Catcher has systematically embedded green development principles into its operations and decision-making processes, steadily increasing the share of green electricity usage while continuously optimizing its overall energy mix. On the energy management front, the Company has implemented the ISO 50001 energy management system, strengthening energy performance through standardized and institutionalized practices, and establishing a measurable and traceable framework for continuous efficiency improvement—thereby laying a solid foundation for scaling up green electricity adoption.
On the execution side front, Catcher actively collaborates with professional energy providers to install rooftop solar photovoltaic systems across its facilities, promoting on-site renewable energy consumption and self-generation. The Company also participates in the China Renewable Energy Fund (CREF); related investments have received broad coverage from financial media since 2018 and have been disclosed in key customers’ supply chain responsibility reports. The initiative focuses on the development, investment, and operation of renewable energy projects (including wind and solar) in China, with a total capacity exceeding 1 GW. By integrating green power procurement mechanisms, Catcher further enhances the efficiency of green electricity utilization and accelerates the transition of its manufacturing processes toward low-carbon and clean operations. This approach enables the Company to secure stable and verifiable green power sources, effectively reduce its operational carbon footprint, and steadily advance its internal decarbonization targets.
Looking ahead, Catcher will leverage this recognition as a key milestone to further deepen the integration of green electricity usage with low-carbon manufacturing and technological innovation. The Company will continue to expand the scale of green power adoption, strengthen its green competitiveness and long-term resilience, and advance manufacturing transformation through pragmatic actions, while contributing to the achievement of the “carbon peaking and carbon neutrality” goals.
