Catcher Technology Builds Inclusive Workplace First Female Board Member Appointed Women in Management Outpace Industry Average

Catcher Technology continues to advance its commitment to diversity in corporate governance and gender equality by fostering women’s leadership through a dual-track approach at both the Board of Directors and executive management levels. As a demonstration of its dedication to sustainable and inclusive growth, the Company appointed Ms. Su-Huei Kuo, the current Chairperson and CEO of Wei Chih Steel Industrial Co., Ltd., as its first female board member at the 2025 Annual General Shareholders’ Meeting.

As the first woman to serve on the Board since Catcher’s founding, Ms. Kuo brings extensive industry knowledge and executive leadership experience, offering new perspectives and enriching the Company’s governance with greater diversity. Her appointment also reflects the increasing influence of women in corporate decision-making.

According to 2023 ESG data released by the Taiwan Stock Exchange, women accounted for 22% of managerial positions at Catcher Technology, exceeding the 19% average reported among peer companies in the “other electronics” sector. This achievement highlights the Company’s clear strategic direction and proactive efforts in cultivating female leadership and promoting workplace diversity.

Catcher Technology also places strong emphasis on gender equity and human rights protections, ensuring full compliance with the latest standards set forth by the Responsible Business Alliance (RBA), the United Nations Global Compact, and relevant domestic labor regulations. The Company upholds a zero-tolerance policy toward discrimination, harassment, or inequitable treatment on the basis of gender and is committed to building an inclusive, respectful work environment for all employees.

In support of work-life integration, Catcher offers robust family care policies, including paternity leave and parental leave programs. In 2024, 92.86% of eligible female employees who applied for parental leave were granted unpaid leave, reflecting the Company’s steadfast support for employees in balancing their professional and family responsibilities. The Company also hosts an annual Family Day event, reinforcing employee engagement and fostering stronger connections between team members and their families.

Looking forward, Catcher Technology will continue to uphold its founding principles of Technological Innovation, Customer Service, Integrity and Pragmatism, and Sustainable Development. The Company remains focused on advancing gender equality initiatives and empowering women’s career development, aiming to become a leading manufacturing brand that embodies both diversity and inclusivity.
