Aluminum alloy: (1) Artificial age-hardening at 100~200℃ hardens aluminum alloys. (2) Annealing at 400~500℃ softens and releases stress of aluminum alloys. (3) Solution treatment at 500~600℃ homogenizes the matrix for following quench and artificial age hardending.
Steel: (1)Tempering in vacuum and protective atmosphere at 500~700℃ releases stress and softens tool steel molds and stainless steel workpieces. (2)High pressrure gas quenching from 1000~1200℃ to room temperature makes over-saturated matrix for following tempering treatment. |

Steels:
High pressure gas quench vacuum furnace is suitable for hot-work tool steel molds for extrusion, forging, and die-casting process. Compared to water and oil quench, high pressure gas quench possesses lower deformation and brighter surface. The following material removal amount is relatively low.
Precipitate-hardened steels, such as 17-4PH stainless steel. |
